You keep listening to the music to make you feel better, forgetting that ‘Verily in the Remembrance of Allaah do hearts find rest.’ The music keeps changing, being updated, while you forget that the Qur’aan
with the dust on it is the unchanged word of God. The lyrics come off
from the tip of your tongue, memorized as you are mesmerized but the
words of Allaah…you stutter as you try to remember how to recite them.
You keep up with the latest fashion to make you look better, forgetting that Allaah states in the Qur’aan for the believing women “to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment” except to their mahrams. What is good for you has been there all along, and it is modesty. You keep trying to impress the masses with your dresses and your extravagant clothe yet who are you obeying and who are you disobeying? Ask yourself.
You keep staring at the women as you ‘spit your game’, eyeing them like pieces of meat, when you have forgotten what Allaah has said concerning the believing men. “Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do. ” Yes, Allaah is All-Aware of what you do, so fear Allaah and lower your gaze & respect the women as you respect the Mothers of the Believers.
